This is more than managing a pool. This role leads life-saving water safety programs, develops confident swimmers, builds strong staff teams, and ensures our aquatics environment is safe, welcoming, and mission-focused.
What You’ll Lead:

Swim lessons & youth water safety
-
Lifeguard & instructor teams
-
Swim team programming
-
Aquatic fitness classes
-
Pool operations & safety compliance
-
Lifeguard staffing contracts with local schools and community partners
What We’re Looking For:

Proven aquatics and lifeguard leadership experience

Current lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications
-
A commitment to safety, accountability, and team development
-
A leader who builds relationships and models YMCA values
This full-time leadership role reports to the Director of Finance & Operations and plays a key part in advancing member experience, community partnerships, and mission impact.
💰 Compensation: $50,000–$55,000 annually

Responsibilities Include:

Greeting members and guests with warmth and professionalism

Managing memberships and program registrations

Handling phone inquiries and front desk operations

Supporting a safe and organized facility environment

Living and modeling YMCA values daily
We’re looking for individuals who are dependable, friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable using computer systems and membership software.
Flexible schedules available, including evenings and weekends.
💰 Compensation: $16.00-$18.00 hourly
📍 Location: Jamestown Area YMCA/JCC and Lakewood
