Whether you're just beginning your wellness journey or training for your next big goal, the Jamestown and Lakewood YMCA Fitness Centers offer the equipment, support, and encouragement you need to succeed.

Our fitness centers feature a wide variety of cardiovascular equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, rowers, and more. Members also have access to a comprehensive selection of strength-training equipment, functional training spaces, free weights, benches, cable systems, and power racks designed to support every fitness level and workout style.

At the YMCA, fitness is about more than exercise—it's about building confidence, improving health, and creating healthy habits that last a lifetime.

New to the Y?

We're here to help you get started! New members may schedule up to three complimentary fitness appointments with a YMCA Wellness Coach. During these appointments, our staff will introduce you to the fitness center, demonstrate proper equipment use, help you establish fitness goals, and create a plan that works for you.

Youth Fitness Center Guidelines

To help ensure a safe and positive experience for all members, the following age guidelines apply:

  • Children under 10 years of age are not permitted in the fitness centers or free weight areas.
  • Youth ages 10–14 must complete a YMCA Fitness Orientation before using fitness equipment independently.
  • Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times while in the fitness center or free weight areas.
  • YMCA staff reserve the right to monitor equipment usage and enforce safety guidelines at all times.
