Y Kids Program
When school is closed, the Jamestown YMCA Y Kids Program is here to help families with safe, reliable childcare.
Designed for children ages 5–11, Y Kids provides a full day of supervised activities including games, sports, crafts, group activities, swimming, field trips, literacy activities, and more.

7:30 AM–5:30 PM

Early drop-off beginning at 7:30 AM and late pick-up through 5:30 PM are available at no additional charge.
2026–2027 Program Dates
2026: October 12; November 11 & 25; December 4, 23 & 28–30
2027: January 18; February 15–19; March 12 & 29–31; April 1–2
Fees
YMCA Members: $60 per child, per full day
Potential Members: $78 per child, per full day
All program fees are due at registration. DSS child care subsidies are accepted for eligible families.
What to Bring
Children should come prepared with:
- Gym shoes and socks
- Water bottle
- One healthy afternoon snack
- Appropriate outdoor clothing for walking field trips
Breakfast and lunch are provided.

Registration is completed online HERE or by appointment with Gina Bloomquist at (716) 664-2802 ext. 222 or designated childcare staff Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
Immunization records are required before attendance and may be faxed to (716) 488-7680.
Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
