Recreational Volleyball

Serve, set, spike, and have fun this fall in the YMCA Adult Recreational Volleyball League! This co-ed league is perfect for players looking for friendly competition in a fun and welcoming environment.

Registration

Registration Opens: August 1
Registration Deadline: September 4

Payment is required at the time of registration. You are not considered registered until payment has been received.

Season Information

Season: September 21 – December 7
League Length: 12 weeks
- 10 weeks of regular season play
- 2 weeks of playoffs and finals
Game Night: Monday Evenings
League Format: Co-ed Recreational (6 vs. 6)
- Blue Division - Rec
- Red Division - Advanced

Games are played at both the Jamestown YMCA and Lakewood Family YMCA.

Team Requirements

Teams consist of 6 players on the court.
A minimum of 2 female players must be on the court at all times.
At least 6 players per team must be registered before the season begins.
Substitute players may not be used until 6 rostered players have registered.
Players may compete on only one team within the division.
Please complete one registration form per player.
The cost of the 6th player's registration may be split among multiple teammates.

Players who have not registered and paid are not eligible to participate. Failure to register all required players may result in a team forfeit.

Team Captain Responsibilities

Team captains are responsible for:

Providing the YMCA with a preliminary roster of players, including each player's first and last name.
Supplying a current, active email address.
Receiving all league schedules, updates, and cancellation notices from the YMCA.
Communicating all schedules, updates, and league information to their team members.

Player Responsibility

Each player is responsible for registering online, by phone, or in person before participating in league play.
