High School Varsity Soccer

Winter 2026–2027

Compete against the area's high school teams in the YMCA's Varsity Indoor Soccer League! This competitive winter league for grades 9-12 offers student-athletes the opportunity to continue developing their skills and representing their schools throughout the offseason.

League Information

Boys Varsity

  • Game Day: Saturdays

  • Game Times: Beginning at 8:00 AM, with games scheduled throughout the morning and afternoon.

 

 Girls Varsity

  • Game Day: Saturdays

  • Game Times: Afternoon games following the completion of the Boys Varsity schedule.

Game times are determined by the number of teams registered.

Season Dates

  • League Season: December 5, 2026 – March 6, 2027

  • Registration Deadline: November 20, 2026

 

 Registration

  • League Cost: $850 per team

  • Teams must register as a complete team.

  • One registration form is required per team.

  • The team roster must be completed on the back of the registration form.

  • A signed waiver is required for every player.

  • Coaches should submit the completed registration form and payment to the Lakewood Family YMCA.

Team Requirements

  • This is a competitive high school league.

  • Each team must provide an adult volunteer coach.

  • A minimum of 10 players is required per team.

  • Game schedules and team shirts will be distributed during the first week of games.

Player Eligibility

Players should register through their school team only. If a player's school does not offer a varsity indoor soccer team, they may join another participating team with permission from that team's coach.

Volunteer Coaches

Volunteer coaches are an essential part of making this league successful. Each team must have an adult coach to supervise and lead the team throughout the season.
