Quality childcare is our priority at the YMCA. We strive to provide a positive atmosphere for children with activties that teach honesty, respect, caring, and responsibility. Our staff is made up of well-trained adults who enjoy working with children. Parents can help ensure their child’s safety by taking an active interest in his or her YMCA experience. Parents are encouraged to monitor volunteer and staff interactions with their children and report any unusual behavior to the YMCA Executive Director.

YMCA Heritage House Child Care Center
The YMCA Heritage House Child Care Center, located at 155 Prather Avenue in Jamestown, serves children from infant to school age including infants (6 weeks to 18 months), toddlers (18 months to 2 years), and Preschool (3-5 years). The staff is made up of certified teachers and well-trained assistants who are committed to providing an atmosphere of exploration and discovery for every child.
Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Daily rate – $45.00
Full-time, weekly rate – $185.00
UPK + 6 hours wrap care – $150.00

Y Kids
Ages: Ages 5 to 12
Y Kids is the place to be for your 5-12 year old on days when there is no school! We provide tons of interactivew, challenging activities with cool themes, great trips, and top-notch supervision in a fun atomsphere. Children should bring a lunch, a morning and afternoon snack, swim suit, towel, gym shoes, and refillable water bottle. See schedule for days and times.

Childwatch
Ages: 6 weeks to 9 years
Childwatch services are offered free of charge to YMCA Family and Youth members while you work out. Toys, games, videos, crafts, and coloring make your child’s stay fun. Please call ahead to make reservations. Two-hour time limit.
