The Eastside Family YMCA, located at 727 E. 2nd Street, invites area residents to experience what is offered in the community for youth and families. This facility is in operation for all Hispanic families as well as all others in our community, both the youth and their families. One of the objectives of The Eastside Family YMCA is to bring community members together and promote unity through celebrating diversity.

Everyday, the Middle School Academy has activities just right for learning and fun. At the Middle School Academy you can get the help you need with homework while also discovering things about the natural world and experiencing new things like making a music video. We offer a shifting line up of classes and activities that change every 7 weeks. On a regular basis you can expect to have the opportunity for activities like these:
-Videography
-Writing Expressions
-Science Exploration
-Cheerleading
-Music Discovery
-Art Experiences
This program, which is open to all, incorporates dance, music, and culture!
This class teaches youth how to come up with an idea or story and they are assisted by a trained professional in editing it into a short film/movie. They can also produce their own music video or commercials.
Fridays 6 to 7 p.m.
Homework help is provided daily for after school participants Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:30pm through collaboration with Chautauqua Striders. Tutoring is also provided in the Middle School Academy.
