YMCA
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
|
|
Quality
childcare is our priority at the YMCA. We
strive to provide a positive atmosphere
for children with activities that teach values
such as honesty, respect, caring, and
responsibility. Our staff is made up of
well-trained adults and students who enjoy working
with children. Through cooperation with some
public schools, United Way, and other
various organizations, transportation is available
from some school districts.
Our
after school care programs serve children ages
5-12 and are open on all regular days of school
(by district) Monday - Friday, from 3:00 - 6:00
pm. At the Jamestown, Eastside,
Southwestern, and Randolph childcare sites, we
offer extended hours for half days and our YMCA
day camp program is available for holidays and
vacation days.
Each
day, children will receive a nutritious snack and
daily activity choices such as arts and crafts,
sports, swimming, computers, Kidzlit, cooking,
community service projects, games, homework help,
large and small group games, and more!
